In a strategic move to enhance its trade service offerings, Matrixport, a digital asset ecosystem platform managing $4 billion in assets, today announced a partnership with OKX, the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency trading platform by volume.
The strategic partnership grants Matrixport the status of an ND (Non-Disclosed) broker for OKX, seamlessly integrating trading experiences for users across both platforms. This collaboration would enhance liquidity, broaden market access, and ultimately streamline user journeys, solidifying both players’ positions within the dynamic crypto landscape.
Under the partnership, Matrixport users are now granted real-time access to OKX’s vast suite of trading functionalities, including its deep liquidity pool, and an extensive range of currency pairs. With simplified customer onboarding and streamlined KYC procedures, verified Matrixport users can also benefit from a hassle-free trading experience, including a one-click asset transfer feature that incurs no on-chain fees.
Cynthia Wu, COO, Matrixport, shared: “Partnering with OKX significantly bolsters Matrixport’s contract trading suite and liquidity by enabling our users to have complete flexibility in what and where to trade, and how users would like to custody their assets. This strategic move is a concrete step in expanding our offerings while maintaining high standards of market depth and security.”
Lennix Lai, Chief Business Officer, OKX, remarked: “We are thrilled to offer our broker liquidity services to Matrixport’s global users, and look forward to enriching their trading journey with an expansive array of trading options, making their trading smoother and offering flexibility in position management.”
This win-win partnership is in line with Matrixport’s continual efforts to enhance its App-based offerings, which saw the successfully launched its USDs-Margined & Crypto-Margined Perpetual Contracts in August 2023 and Spot trading in November 2023. The new features that enable enhanced trading capabilities are available for Matrixport users except for those based in restricted countries and regions, including Hong Kong and the United States etc.
