The Render Network is a peer-to-peer (P2P) GPU compute network built on the Ethereum blockchain and OctaneRender, the world’s first and currently fastest GPU-accelerated renderer by industry-leading OTOY Inc. It aims to connect creators needing GPU compute power for rendering with providers renting their GPU capability out in exchange for RNDR tokens. The high-performing network facilitates complex GPU render jobs and simplifies the transactional process of rendering and streaming 3D environments and objects. It is a project that is vital to building digital products and services.
Render Token (RNDR) is the network’s native utility token used to pay for animation, motion graphics, and VFX rendering in the network. The market cap of RNDR now stands at about $657 million, with over RNDR 363 million tokens in circulation (as of mid-April 2023). RNDR’s all-time high (ATH) price peaked at $8.78 in November 2021 and is now trading at about $1.81. (as of mid-April 2023).
The Render Network has also introduced RNDR credits for new users to get started on the network, which can be purchased using PayPal or Stripe. RNDR credits are backed by RNDR tokens. Hence, when a creator pays for the service using RNDR credits, node operators are paid in RNDR tokens for their work.
Render Token (RNDR) is available on the Matrixport app; alongside other blue-chip cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), Stablecoins (USDT, USDC and BUSD), and many more. Users can deposit, withdraw and transfer RNDR on the app.
